These Terms govern your use of Get Set Shortlist at https://getsetshortlist.com ("the Service"), operated by BASIL VARGHESE, Kochi, Kerala, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service — including the free try — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What the Service is

Get Set Shortlist is an AI-assisted resume builder. You provide information about yourself; the Service structures it, drafts resume content using artificial intelligence, and lets you edit, format, and download the result as a PDF.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 or above.
• One free-trial generation is offered per person; circumventing trial limits (multiple sessions, automation) is not permitted.

3. AI credits and payments

• AI features consume credits: 2 credits per full resume generation or job-tailoring run, 1 per section rewrite. Current pack prices are on the Pricing page.
• Credits are one-time purchases — not a subscription — and do not expire. They are personal to your account and non-transferable, and have no cash value beyond our refund policy.
• Payments are processed by Cashfree. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
• If an AI request fails on our side, the credits for that request are automatically returned to your balance.
• We may revise pack prices or credit costs prospectively; changes never affect credits you already hold.

4. Your content and responsibility for accuracy

• You own the information you enter and the resumes you create. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and process that content to run the Service.
• The AI is designed to work strictly from facts you provide and not to invent employers, dates, or qualifications. AI output can still contain mistakes. You are solely responsible for reviewing your resume and for the truthfulness of anything you submit to employers.
• You agree not to use the Service to create misleading credentials, impersonate others, infringe anyone's rights, or upload unlawful or malicious content, and not to scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify features over time; material reductions affecting paid credits will be handled fairly under the refund policy.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost employment opportunities.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms; genuinely unused purchased credits on a non-breaching account will be refunded on closure.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kochi, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction.
